Present day H2O is a far cry from our first event, which attracted thousands of party people albeit without the luxury of a booking system or computers. Tickets were only sold at the door and we had not the foggiest idea what kind of turnout to expect. They said it would never work.. but we believed!
15 years on, H2O has held steady at the forefront of SA's electronic dance music scene by bringing the world’s biggest DJs, live acts, world-class production and an unparalleled vibe to partygoers time and again. H2O has played host to industry's finest incl. Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk, Gareth Emery, Dash Berlin, Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Avicii, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Steve Aoki and countless others.
Now it's time to celebrate! This September, H2O Africa celebrates 15 years of dance. Not only as a showcase of our industry elite but also as a platform to acknowledge and appreciate the many tiers and genres of electronic music talent in our own back yard.
With over 100 SA DJs and live acts across no less than 10 dance arenas coupled with our most outrageous production to date.. Prepare to experience 15 years of pure party magic compressed into a one day!!
